It got to be a long night, but it was fun.  I got to the theater around 9:30 for the movie, and Nevin and Julie were there with our seats saved.  The weather was dreary but the 14 screen theater was prepared, so they opened theaters as movies got out for Star Wars fans to settle in.

Many fans were there in costume, and the theater we were in had many laptops and portable DVD players going with previous Star Wars movies playing, LucasArts Star Wars games being played and also lots of people reading books.  It was an interesting people watching experience to say the least.  Darth Vader loses some of his...maliciousness when he walks into a crowded theater with his helmet off, is starting to go bald, and has a huge bucket of popcorn.

I enjoyed the movie, although it was kind of predictable; you knew where the characters were going, just not sure how they would get there.  All in all it was a fun night with good friends and a great time being a small part of a somewhat historic event. Got home a little after 3AM, but made it to work!
